As he says, for the past 1.5 years Armenia has fallen back for a few decades, turning up in a civilization crisis, and not a political crisis.

Alexander Arzumanyan does not understand the claims that the authorities could consider the March 1 page to be closed by amnesty, “It’s not that the page has not closed – it has not opened either. The March 1 page will be closed only when the people, having really been culpable for the murders of that day, having given orders and implemented them, are revealed and bear responsibility.”

He has considered ANC young activist Tigran Arakelyan’s arrest to be something cynical: Arakelyan was detained on July 1, during the ANC assembly awareness action.

“It’s already about this generation of our political prisoners – the children of the people sitting here. The bright 14-15-years-old children that are trying to make their first steps in getting aware of their citizenship… We should be happy there are children that are making steps for their civil rights. They organize gatherings and pickets. This is real wealth that talks about the health of the country. And today we try to intimidate those children by cynically arresting them based on such cruel articles. We are not to live forever, nor will these authorities, whereas this is the generation that is going to live,” Alexander Arzumanyan has stated.

He has reminded the authorities that everything has a beginning and an end.
